About The Role
International Services, Inc. in Arlington Heights, IL seeks Senior Business Consultant. Provide advice, direction, assistance, and service for clients implementing solutions based on client’s needs and increasing their revenue. Assist clients with understanding the value of the project to the future of their company. When needed investigate funding opportunities that will allow the client to pursue the benefits of completing all or part of the project. Follow the direction of the Senior Project Manager who has been assigned responsibility of managing that consulting project. Provide constructive suggestions and comments to the Senior Project Manager on “reading a client/situation,” or an approach to identify and/or solving a problem. Assist the Senior Project Manager in opening all assigned projects in accordance and following company policies. Help establish confidence in the company’s ability to do the work and continually build credibility with the client. In the absence of the Senior Project Manager, actively handle administrative matters and function as the principal information conduit between the project and the Consulting Services Director in the office. Actively pursue all project and client problem resolutions. Advise the Consulting Services Director and/or Senior Project Manager of all problems and/or signs of problems on a project as soon as they are known or observed by the Senior Business Consultant. Research, develop, and install all aspects of the Value Enhancement Plan with the client and the client’s personnel. Exhibit a high degree of professionalism and personal conduct in all matters/communications/contact concerning a project, client, client’s personnel, fellow consultants, the Consulting Service Directors, and all other company employees. Prepare the client invoice, taking care to include all funds due for billing hours and expenses during the billing period. Submit the invoice to the Consulting Services Director for approval before presentation to the client, presentation to the client, and collection of the entire amount due. Send in all funds collected and all project documentation per company Operational Procedures. Identify and develop project expansion areas, cultivate client referrals, and continually look for opportunities to upsell additional products and services based on the needs of the client. Maintain a file on all projects he/she has been associated with that have recessed and the prospective return dates. Teach the client the critical importance of managing their cash resources by working with the client to control the cash when necessary. Must be willing to travel and relocate to unanticipated client locations in the U.S.

Job Requirements: 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related analyst role. Must also possess experience with (i) interpreting KPI’s and create a plan to establish goals and action plan to achieve KPI’s; (ii) creating and implementing Value Practices and Business Plans to improve overall business efficiencies; (iii) creating P&L Reports from scratch in Excel using formulas to determine current financial situation; (iv) creating Cash Flow Management reporting in Excel to determine 13-week projection; (v) creating KPI reports; (vi) reading and interpreting Financial Statements such as P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and bank statements; (vii) budget planning creation and implementation; (viii) preparing Client Invoices; and (ix) 5 years’ experience using Excel formulas to create/run KPI’s.
